SCBC is super excited to be ramping up efforts in support of National Bike to Work Month this May, with the 23rd annual Bike to Work Day taking place on Thursday, May 11! Mark your calendar to join the fun alongside thousands of cyclists throughout Sonoma County and the Bay Area where you can visit a local Energizer Station to get a free canvas bag full of goodies, and then keep the celebration alive by joining a Bike to Work Day- After Party! If you’re interested in volunteering to support Bike to Work Day, please fill out a volunteer form here.
Want to get your workplace in on the fun? Consider participating in the Team Bike Challenge!
The Team Bike Challenge is a fun commute competition taking place during May that encourages friends and colleagues to form teams of two to five people to compete against other teams throughout the Bay Area. Team members will earn points every time they ride their bikes and for every mile they pedal. Whether you’re riding to work, school, the park or almost anywhere else, you will earn points along the way. One team will be crowned from each county.
