Our friends at the Made Local Marketplace in downtown Santa Rosa have named the Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition as the the benefiting charitable organization for their May 2013 Month of Giving campaign. It could not be better timing considering May is National Bike Month! 

 

Stop by on May 10th for a wine and shopping social hour and check out the amazing selection of products made by local crafters and artisans. Free wine and sugar hand massages for all attendees. The Made Local Marketplace will be donating 10% of their profits to the Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition for the entire month of May. This awesome store, along with it's parent organization, The Share Exchange, opened its doors in December 2010, and features items from 35 local artists and craftspeople. The number of artists has grown (over 300 now), as has the variety of products to be found in the Marketplace. “We have a lot of creative and incredibly talented folks in our county”, says store manager, Adriann Saslow. “And we carry a wide range of goods, from chocolate to jewelry, from books to jam. It’s a fun store and it’s all locally made!"
