Are you interested in riding your bike to work or school, but sure where to begin? Maybe you have some questions about how to plan a safe route, what kind of gear you need, or what to do if your office doesn’t have a shower.
In advance of Bike to Work Day in May, Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition is offering a FREE clinic: Bicycle Commuting Made Easy. Their certified instructors — seasoned two-wheeled commuters – will review some basics of bike commuting, share their experiences and best practices, hand out some nifty bike accessories, and answer all of your questions.
The workshop will be held twice:
• April 9, 5:30PM – 7:00PM, at the SCBC office, 499 Humboldt Street, Santa Rosa
• April 23, 5:30PM – 7:00PM, at Keller Street Cowork, 140 Keller Street, Petaluma
The clinics are free, but pre-registration is required. (Click on the city name for the session of interest.)
