Help Shape Future Bike Investments: Take the District 4 Bike Plan Survey!

Caltrans is developing a Bicycle Plan for Bay Area District 4 to improve bicycling on and across the State-owned transportation network. SCBC urges you to take a moment to complete a brief survey to help shape the bicycle network within Sonoma County. This is not your typical survey! It includes maps where you can pinpoint exactly where dangers and barriers in the bicycle network exist, and where you would like to see new and improved bike facilities!

The survey provides a rare opportunity to identify where we would like to see future bicycle investments on and across the State-owned transportation network in Sonoma County and the Bay Area!
It’s a chance to specifically call-out future priority investments, including (but not limited to) the:

  • Santa Rosa Community Connector Bridge (a bike/ped bridge that would span Highway 101, connecting the Coddingtown Area to Santa Rosa Junior College)
  • Sonoma Valley Trail (a 13-mile paved trail that would generally follow the Highway 12 corridor from the Springs area northwest of Sonoma to the Santa Rosa city limits)
  • Lower Russian River Trail (a bike/ped trail along River Road/Hwy 116 from Odd Fellows Park Road to Duncans Mills)
