Celebrate Bike Month by joining SCBC’s Team Challenge! Organize a group of colleagues, friends or family members, and commit to getting out there during the month of May on two wheels! Whether your goal is to try using your bike for daily commutes and errands, embrace a healthier, greener lifestyle, or simply ride as far as you can, the Team Challenge is a great way to have fun while racking up the miles. Every trip counts toward prizes — and bragging rights!
Mark your calendar! Join us for a kick-off party Wednesday, April 29 from 5-6 p.m. at the SCBC Office, 499 Humboldt St., Santa Rosa. We’ll be on-hand to answer questions, and you’ll have a chance to meet some of your competitors.
How the Challenge works
🚲 We are using the Challenge Runner app to run this monthlong challenge from May 1-31. Scan the QR code below or follow this link to join and set up your team — we recommend you do this before the Challenge begins. Team leaders can then invite participants to join their teams.
Use 72d9vz-4111 if you are prompted for an enrollment code.
🚲 Sync the app with your fitness tracker for automatic uploads or manually enter your ride data each day (you can also do both!).
🚲 Track your team’s progress on the leaderboard. Data is averaged based on the size of your team. Note that you get extra points for logging rides on Bike to Work Day, Thursday, May 14!
🚲 The Challenge closes on May 31. We will award prizes for most miles and most trips, and possibly a couple of surprise categories.

Please note that Bay Area Bike to Wherever Days, the regional Bike Month organization, is also running an individual bike challenge during the month of May. They are separate challenges, and you are encouraged to sign up for both.
