The Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition is hosting our first-ever Advocacy Summit, a day of inspiration, information, and encouragement for everyone who wants to make our roads safer for bicyclists of all ages and abilities.
Join us from 11-3:30 Saturday, October 21 at Sonoma Clean Power in Santa Rosa.
Are you interested in:
- Building community around bikes?
- Learning how to support local active transportation planning and programs?
- Helping to get more bike lanes built across the county?
Our line-up of speakers will share experience and advice that will benefit all advocates, whether you have been fighting the good fight for many years or are new to the cause. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with other advocates working in your town and across the area.
Our program will include:
- Ari Feinsmith and Sharlene Liu, Local Team Leaders, Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition
- Thea Hensel, Co-chair, Santa Rosa Southeast Greenway Campaign Team
- Juan Chavez and Chad Hunt, Founders, Santa Rosa Taco Tuesday Ride
The event will be held at Sonoma Clean Power’s Advanced Energy Center in downtown Santa Rosa. Lunch will be provided at an additional cost, or feel free to bring your own food. Free bike valet also will be available.
