Long time Sonoma County Resident, Ken graduated High School in Healdsburg and received his BA in Psychology from Sonoma State University. Ken lives in Petaluma, and is the father of two teenage boys who attend Casa Grande High School. He enjoys riding his bike with his family around Petaluma, as well as hiking and photography. Professionally, Ken serves as the Associate Development Director for Social Advocates for Youth. Some past and current examples of how Ken volunteers his time for youth and family causes are:
- Chair of Petaluma City Council Youth Commission
- Former Kenilworth JR High, and current Casa Grande High School Site Council member
- Former Youth Football coach, Little League coach and Little League Board member
- Board Vice President – Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition
