The Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition is excited to introduce our new Executive Director, Alisha O’Loughlin! Alisha is a passionate and experienced bike advocate who’s eager to build upon SCBC’s successes to take our organization to the next level of growth and leadership. As the former Policy and Planning Director for the Marin County Bicycle Coalition, Alisha is closely familiar with the North Bay’s political landscape and bicycle infrastructure projects. She’s thrilled to apply her advocacy, strategic planning and organizational development experience to grow SCBC as a powerful leader in the bicycle movement.

Alisha is extremely passionate about bicycling for everyday transportation and recreation and believes in the transformative powers of cycling to shape a better world for this and future generations. She recognizes the key to promoting bicycling as a viable transportation option for all users is to secure world-class, low-stress bicycle infrastructure and by developing bicycle-friendly communities and policies. Alisha is a Sonoma County native and is overjoyed to be have returned home with her husband and young daughter. She is eager to put her experience and knowledge of non-profits and bike advocacy to work in Sonoma County.
