Family Bike Workshops

Bookmark our online calendar to keep up with new events & classes!  Most workshops are free, but pre-registration is required.

Fun games and a neighborhood ride!  Join the Bicycle Coalition’s certified cycling instructors for a fun workshop for parents and kids. Children must be able to ride a bike and ready to take to the road with their parents. Parents are allowed to trail their children in trailers or child seats too. Children and parents must participate in the clinic together and bring their own bikes and helmets. For more information, contact Christina Panza at 707-545-0153 or christina@bikesonoma.org.

Learn to Ride Classes for Kids

Is your child struggling to learn how to ride a bike? Through step-by-step engaging instruction, our patient instructors will help them learn to balance and get rolling. Children should arrive with their own bicycle with training wheels removed, and a helmet. They should be able to sit on the seat with their feet flat on the ground.

Classes are held in collaboration with Windsor, Santa Rosa, and Petaluma Parks & Recreation Departments on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30.  Students can take as many sessions as they need! Click on the city name  to register for classes at that location.
