May is here, which means it’s time for the Climate Ride’s NorCal Green Fondo! This is an amazing opportunity for bicycling advocates and enthusiasts to ride on beautiful nearby roads while raising money for our very own Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition. My 14-year old son, Sylvester, and I will be participating for our fourth year in a row. It’s one of our favorite things to do together. We’ll be camping out and riding our bikes over many miles with other bicycle and environmental enthusiasts over the weekend of May 15-17.
We are so fortunate that the Climate Ride puts on this event in our backyard! I’ve been working at SCBC for close to 18 years and I am so proud to be working with and teaching upcoming generations, including my own son, about the benefits and beauty of biking.
