SCBC is one of four non-profits nominated to participate in this year’s 100 Sonoma People Who Care event!
Nominees are chosen from five categories: Senior Services; Arts & Sciences; Animal Welfare; Environmental Stewardship; and Family & Children. The other organizations are Alchemia, Petaluma Bounty, and Rebuilding Together Petaluma.
Attendees pay $100 for admission to the event. Each of the nominees gives a presentation about their work; at the end, all the attendees vote and the winner receives ALL of the funds raised.
The event will be held February 27, 5:45-8:00 PM, at the Cavanagh Recreation Center in Petaluma. It includes food and beverages and a chance to mingle with attendees and the other nonprofits. If you’d like to attend, RSVP to mariahs@arrowbenefitsgroup.com. Come on out and help us win!
UPDATE: While we didn’t win, we did receive a $500 “consolation prize” AND got a great opportunity to share our message with folks who were unfamiliar with us! You can watch the video of our presentation here.
