The Climate Ride’s NorCal Green Fondo weekend fast approaches! This is an amazing opportunity to ride bikes on beautiful nearby roads while raising money for our very own Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition! My 13-year old son, Sylvester, and I will be participating for our third year in a row. It’s one of our favorite things to do together. We’ll be camping out and riding our bikes over many miles with other bicycle and environmental enthusiasts over the weekend of May 16-18.
When I asked Sylvester what he loved the most about the Climate Ride, he said, “I love everything about it… the riding, meeting all the different people, the tasty food, raising money for organizations doing good things, learning how to fix my bike, winning cool gear by playing the Climate Ride BINGO, and playing corn hole with fellow riders.”
