Three Rohnert Park incumbents applied to run for the three open council seats. In August, the City Council adopted a resolution to cancel the November election and appoint the three candidates — Jackie Elward, District 4, Gerard Giudice, District 3, and Samantha Rodriguez, District 1 — to four-year terms.
