November 5 is coming up, and this election will be an important opportunity to voice your support for a more bike-friendly Sonoma County!
The only transportation-related initiative on the November ballot, Cotati’s Measure S, would repeal the city’s 2012 ban on roundabouts. SCBC opposed the ban back then, and supports Measure S now – roundabouts are one of the safest intersection treatments in the traffic engineering toolbox!
As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, the Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition cannot endorse candidates for public office, but we are able to share information so that you can arrive at your own conclusion. We have distributed a questionnaire to all City Council, State Assembly and State Senate candidates, and we have posted all of the responses we’ve received here.
